Our mission
Built for people who have tried everything else
The founder
Eddie Cortese

My name is Eddie Cortese, and I am the founder of Holistic Hope House. After nearly a decade of battling severe addiction and depression, I finally found the light at the end of the tunnel—and it was plant medicine that illuminated my path.
Plant medicine has a unique way of inducing a perspective shift, allowing you to think with unparalleled clarity and logic while staying deeply connected to your core emotions. Through this journey, I rediscovered myself and realized who I am meant to be in this lifetime.
I went from living in a mental hell, completely consumed by heroin and crack cocaine addiction, to feeling happy and free—like I was struck by the light of God. For the first time in what felt like forever, I feel like myself. There's no doubt in my mind that plant medicine saved my life.
This profound experience gave me purpose: to spread hope and help others evolve into a more enlightened state. I feel a deep calling to assist others out of the same quicksand I once sank in.
At Holistic Hope House, we understand the overwhelming difficulty of life's struggles—especially the weight of addiction and depression—and the profound impact it has on your loved ones. Our mission is to provide those in need with the safest, most effective treatments to help them find their inner light.
Plant medicine has the power to guide you toward peace, clarity, and a perspective you truly deserve. We are here to help you evolve into the best version of yourself and live with a renewed sense of purpose and hope.
What we hold to
Four principles
Medicine first, ceremony second
Every treatment is preceded by a physician-led workup. Plant medicine is powerful, and it is treated with the same seriousness as any other medical intervention.
Honest screening
We would rather lose a client than treat someone who shouldn't be treated. If your labs or history say no, we say no.
A home, not a facility
People heal faster in a place that feels like a house than in a place that feels like a ward. Meals, ocean, quiet, and dignity are part of the protocol.
The work continues at home
The experience is the beginning. Integration planning and aftercare are built into the stay, not sold separately.
Whatever you're battling, there's a place for you here.
